    Specifically within the startup culture, stats are indicating an alarming mental health care crisis… Pro longed pressures, stress and more no’s than yes’s often lead to a burnout we could’ve prevented. I want to acknowledge the severity of burnout in this epi. I’ve hit rock BOTTOM several times BECAUSE of burnout. I’ve also acknowledged that by accepting I am STRONG for receiving help, I can become the most powerful voice within this field. a healing element resides within telling a story, and my story feels cathartic to tell.   • Willpower VS Strength

    I have to be my biggest advocate when my brain sometimes trails off into places of scarcity and terror, to put myself into a place of gratitude and self awareness. I have to educate myself on how to live normally, and continue to follow the practises I’ve taught myself. I’ve had to tell doctors what they’re doing is wrong, and try to understand my own wires in order to find what’s right. I’ve had to step out of extremely fun situations and experiences because I could only feel anxiety rising up my chest. I’ve been mocked, shamed and judged. But I know for damn sure I’m a fighter, and so are you.
