About this listen

Brandon Fischer and Tyler Sliwa have known each other since 2019 and were roommates at one point in college but wanted to start a Variety Show podcast.
Since Episode 12 of the first year/ season the amount of topics went down from essentially everything down to Current Events/ News/ Politics, Video Games, and Sports with occasionally doing a Special for a time of year or season or when feeling like doing a special. Most episodes will last somewhere between 13 minutes to a little over three hours depending on the topic and how the conversation is going. You may laugh, learn, listen to on and off banter within the subjects. The hosts will also answer questions sent on the discord, facebook community group, and on X (Twitter).

Episodes usually are released once a week.Copyright Brandon Fischer & Tyler Sliwa

  • #27 Affordability
    Nov 25 2025
Tyler essentially does a solo episode on
affordability. Brandon just does the outro and adds on a little bit of info at the end. We did this one a little differently than how we usually do episodes.

Affordability is a big problem in the
US in 2025 with the three main factors of Envy, Inflation, and Greed.

All uploads from 11-25 had a post edit addition where Brandon recorded a couple of lines from home while everything else was in studio.

Tyler wanted to do a baseball season postmortem so we go over the baseball season in retrospect, the AL MVP Race Results and why the few of those in the Writers Association voted the way they did.

If you want to read the article yourself: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6796468/2025/11/13/al-mvp-voters-cal-raleigh-aaron-judge-decision/
The Writers who voted for AL MVP, a good portion of them put up their reasoning in articles and on Twitter/X.
