35% of new gym members quit within 3 months, sticking to the vows is about as tough as sticking to the treadmill.

Why am I sharing this stat, well Monday marked my 25th Wedding Anniversary and only 35% of marriages make it to 25 years. Whilst I am a widow and no longer 'officially' married in a legal sense, I did celebrate.

Monday marked the life and love that I shared with Jonathan, not just the passage of time. The 25 years we built together are still mine, real, meaningful, and worthy of honouring. A love that still exists. I now guide people on their own journey of rediscovery following a loss and I know I have used this example of my anniversary today but Grief can be so many other things the list is endless, the loss of a pet, a car, a job, retirement, relationship, the life you had planned there are many more these are just a few that come to mind.

Grief is unique to each and every person and sometimes we look for other explanations as to why we are feeling like we are when it is grief. I help my clients to take small simple steps to create a meaningful life after loss.
