• Expectation Is the Real Secret
    Mar 2 2026

In this episode of How Can I Make My Life Better?, Charlene explores why expectation — not desire — is the real driver behind manifestation.

If we don’t attract what we want, but instead attract what we expect… how do we strengthen expectation?

From clearing out cupboards and creating energetic space, to practical experiments from E-Squared by Pam Grout, this episode breaks manifestation down into something tangible and testable.

    You’ll hear about:

    • The Law of Assumption and why decision removes resistance

    • The Volkswagen Jetta Principle (what you focus on expands)

    • The Superhero Principle and how your thoughts and words affect your physical reality

    • Why small experiments build belief faster than wishful thinking

    • How to train your nervous system to feel safe expecting good things

    This isn’t about magical thinking.

    It’s about building evidence.
    Building certainty.
    Building the muscle.

If life feels chaotic right now, start small. Decide. Expect. Observe.

    And see what shifts.

  • A Devotion to Self-Love
    Feb 23 2026

In this episode, I take a deeper look at what self-love actually means — beyond the surface-level version we’re often sold. This isn’t just about bubble baths, flowers, or treating yourself (though those can be lovely). It’s about recognising your best bits, honouring them, and understanding the real value of who you are.

We explore how self-love shows up in everyday choices, how it builds genuine self-worth, and why developing a healthy relationship with yourself can open doors — in your career, your relationships, and the opportunities you allow into your life.

This episode is an invitation to reflect on how you see yourself, how you speak to yourself, and how that inner relationship shapes the life you’re building.

I also share an opportunity to go deeper with a 5-Day Devotion to Self-Love — a simple, reflective challenge designed to help you strengthen your relationship with yourself in a practical, meaningful way: https://www.patreon.com/posts/5-day-devotion-151272035?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

  • A Recipe For Building Those Invisible Muscles!
    Feb 16 2026

There are certain muscles we’re never taught to train.

    Not at school.
    Not in our careers.
    Not even in adulthood.

Yet they are the very muscles that shape the quality of our lives.

In this episode, I’m talking about the invisible strengths that determine whether we stay stuck or move forward — things like willpower, self-trust, emotional resilience, self-love, and the inner shifts that happen during major life changes.

But more importantly, I break down the three most important muscles that directly impact your ability to achieve your goals, dreams and wishes — and the simple (but powerful) recipe for strengthening them.

This isn’t about hustle culture or overnight success. It’s about training your internal world so your external world has something solid to stand on.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re doing “all the right things” but not seeing movement yet, this episode might show you what’s really missing.

  • The Benefits Of Self-Appreciation
    Feb 9 2026

In this episode, I explore the quiet but powerful practice of self-appreciation. Not from a place of ego or self-importance, but as a way of building healthy self-esteem, especially if you’ve struggled with insecurity or are rebuilding after difficult or toxic relationships.

I share practical and creative ways to show gratitude towards yourself, acknowledge your wins, and recognise the effort you put into simply being a human navigating life. This is about learning to see yourself with more kindness, noticing your growth, and allowing your inner voice to become more supportive than critical.

Self-appreciation isn’t about pretending everything is perfect, it’s about giving yourself the credit you deserve and creating a stronger foundation of self-worth from the inside out.

  • Climb Out Of The Basement
    Feb 2 2026

In this episode, I’m joined by a very special guest, my sister, as we talk openly about her experience with severe depression and what “climbing out of the basement” has looked like for her.

We discuss the reality of living with depression, the courage it takes to keep asking for help, and how continuing to show up has allowed her to access support through free NHS services. This conversation is a reminder that even when progress feels slow, persistence matters, and support is there.

She also shares a deeply personal self-help approach that helped her through a particularly difficult season: creating an advent calendar of daily self-care activities to keep herself mentally and physically engaged during a time of year that can often bring pressure and anxiety.

This episode is about hope, small steps, and the power of staying involved in your own rescue, even when it feels impossible.

If you’re struggling, please remember you don’t have to do it alone. Reaching out for support can be the first step toward climbing out.

  • A Place For Your Thoughts To Land
    Jan 26 2026

In this episode, I talk about the power of having a place for your thoughts to land and how memory keeping has become one of the most supportive tools in my own life.

What started as a simple way to capture moments has turned into a deeply introspective and reflective practice. Memory keeping has helped me see how far I’ve come, recognise patterns I didn’t realise I was repeating, and gently understand what might need to change.

This conversation explores how creating space to document your life: your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and growth, can bring clarity, self-awareness, and emotional grounding. It’s not about perfection or performance. It’s about presence, honesty, and giving your inner world somewhere safe to be seen.

If you’ve ever felt mentally full, emotionally tangled, or unsure why certain cycles keep repeating, this episode may offer a simple and nurturing place to begin.

  • How NOT to Attract A Loving Relationship
    Jan 19 2026

⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode discusses abuse and its impact on mental processes and may be sensitive for some listeners.

In this deeply personal episode, I speak openly about how past abuse has affected the way I think and relate and why acknowledging that impact is an important step toward healing. We explore not only the courage it takes to seek help and support, but also how healing invites us to look within: to recognise traits we want in loving relationships, to understand the importance of setting healthy boundaries, and to use assertive language so our needs are genuinely met.

This conversation isn’t just about recovery, it’s about building self-awareness, rewriting old patterns, and consciously choosing what we value and deserve. Whether you’re on your own healing path or supporting someone you care about, this episode offers encouragement and practical reflection.

  • Vision Board or Action Board?
    Jan 12 2026

In this episode, I explore the difference between a vision board and an action board and why understanding the difference can completely change how you approach manifestation.

Drawing on insights from Dr Tara Swart’s book The Source, alongside practical guidance from Francesca Amber’s Manifest Like a Mother, I talk about how vision boards actually work in the brain, when they can be helpful, and when they can quietly keep us stuck.

This episode is an invitation to move beyond passive dreaming and into intentional action without losing the magic. If you’ve ever created a vision board and wondered why nothing seemed to shift, this conversation may offer the clarity you’ve been missing.
