She is recognized by CNN as an American Hero for her business and serving her community while raising a family and maintaining a loving 38-year marriage. Sandra’s mother came from Mexico, and she was raised on welfare after her father died young. 

Howard Schiffer so believed in following his meaning for life that he re-mortgaged his house, worked full time for five years at another job, while starting Vitamin Angels in his bedroom. He shares in this interview why he’s happier than he’s ever been and why he gave up so much to do something “not for the money”.
