  • Fergie, Bear, and Fermenting the Good Stuff
    Aug 28 2026

Before the science, the sentimentality: Michelle and Monica open up about the stuffed animals that survived childhood (and the ones that didn't, RIP Tessa's E.T. doll). Then the conversation turns to what actually matters for your hair — why FermaGlo's plant-derived polyquats and fermentation-assisted ingredients work with your hair instead of coating it in plastic like so many "clean" products do. Expect scalp-treatment horror stories, chlorine-green hair confessions, boric acid nostalgia, and a passionate case for letting seven-year-olds just be seven-year-olds. Warm, funny, and genuinely informative — classic Hair It Ferst.

  • Is This Thing On? We’re Not Really Sure.
    Aug 21 2026

Welcome back to Hair It Ferst, where today’s episode is brought to you by technical difficulties, questionable microphones, and the sheer determination to hit “record” anyway.

This week, the girls attempt to record an episode while computers malfunction, microphones crackle, Tessa turns into a robot, then a chipmunk, Monica’s microphone is literally just for decoration, and Michelle’s laptop somehow makes her look fantastic. 😂

They also talk about Monica’s disastrous concert power outage, old-school country music, and the girls’ bold new commitment to cleaning up their language… which immediately becomes one of the hardest things they’ve ever attempted.

And just when you think they’ve finally solved the audio problems, Tessa pulls out a karaoke microphone.

    Because of course she does.

It’s chaotic. It’s ridiculous. It’s completely unscripted. Basically, it’s Hair It Ferst exactly as it was meant to be.

  • Your Scalp Is Disgusting. We Have Pictures. 😂
    Aug 14 2026

Nobody warned us that looking at your scalp under a microscope could be this humbling.

Monica has officially entered her head-spa era, and she is discovering that people who think their hair is “really clean” may want to think again after seeing what’s happening underneath all that hair. The girls dive into scalp buildup, hair health, fermented products, and why your expensive salon color may be begging you to stop washing it with bargain-bin shampoo.

Then things get even more scientific… until Monica pulls out a calculator and proves once and for all that Monday is not a math day.

Meanwhile, Tessa is growing her hair back after chopping off 10 inches, the internet is fighting for its life, headphones are causing problems, Michelle is stuck trying to get into the recording, and everyone is hanging on by “a minuscule thread.”

Basically, it's another perfectly organized episode of Hair It Ferst. 😂
