Did you know that there is nothing you can do to earn God's love? You certainly can not make Him love you more, or even less, by your actions. The Bible is clear when it points out that He loves us, and this is a love we cannot fully comprehend. Peter is writing to the church that no matter what happens, the answer is always Jesus!

Last week, we examined what the Bible says about complaining and challenged you to refrain from complaining for an entire week. How did you do? For many of us, it was very difficult to not complain each day. Why? At the root of complaining is not being satisfied or content. But what do we do when we can't trust God? What about those terrible things that have happened to us? Find out more this week!

Who likes to complain? While some really enjoy it, I hope not all of you do. The problem is that everyone does indeed complain. What should we as Christians do? Do you think we should complain? Should we always be upset? Do you remember what Jesus said was the most important thing? This week, try to not complain for 7 days!

Too often, we forget what truly matters in life. We complain about our job, coworkers, spouse, kids, health, life in general. Instead of seeking God's will, we make a decision. Quit the job, leave the spouse, give up on life, hurt those who have hurt you, etc. Paul teaches us that when we live, we are to live for Christ!

This week, we talk about one of the toughest decisions we have to make...to forgive or not. Forgiving is never easy, especially when you don't really want to ignore. We all know that we should forgive others, but let's be honest and admit that sometimes we don't want to. It is time to decide what you want to do. Do you want to forgive? Do you want to try to forgive? Ask God to help you want to forgive.

This week, we continue to talk about the decisions we make. Are we allowed to ask for signs from God? Have you heard of Gideon? Of course, we can ask for a sign, a supernatural sign that God is leading us. But don't forget that we also have the Holy Spirit! What about how you feel about a decision? Can we trust our feelings? Have you ever made a decision and regretted it? Too often, we think we know better than God and make decisions without asking Him. The result? Often, regrets! When we are faced with a huge decision or want to know God's will, why not ask Him? When we seek God, He guides us through His Holy Spirit, His Word, the Bible, and His people or community.
