About this listen

The tenth episode of Another Paramedic Podcast, we talk to Helen and Natalie

In this episode we talk about resilience. We all know that at times stress can be overwhelming and mental health can be a difficult subject. The three of us discuss our ways of keeping our mental health and resilience high. We also discuss some times that we have struggled and how each person has their own way of protecting themselves. We talk about this in a University format, a work format and a home life format.

Everyone is different and if you find you are struggling and need support please reach out to the appropriate channels and locations.

As well as many other services, the Samaritans phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are available in the UK on 116 123.

All the members of the podcast work for the University of Sunderland and/or teach as part of the Paramedic Science and Out of Hospital Care BSc (HONS) course or are students at the University of Sunderland. We would like to thank the University of Sunderland for allowing us to record using their fantastic suites.
