• A Short Meditation to Receive God’s Blessing and Grace from Numbers 6v24-26
    Dec 18 2025
This is Christian Meditation for A Bigger Life – a time for you to relax your body and refocus your mind to experience the reality of God’s presence. I’m Dave Cover. I want to help you with Christian meditation where you can break through all the distractions and experience God’s presence through biblically guided imagination. As we come to the end of one year and the beginning of a new year, let me pray a very old blessing that God gave to Moses to have said over his people. You might think it’s weird to be listening to a recording of me praying for you without me knowing specifically who you are. But God knows. God knows all who will listen to this when I am praying this for you. So let me speak and pray these God-given words over you… Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV) “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Then God says to Moses in the next verse… Numbers 6:27 (NIV) “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.” Who can you share this podcast with? • A Short Meditation to Replace Worry with Confidence from Jeremiah 17v7

I want to help you with Christian meditation where you can break through all the distractions and experience God’s presence through biblically guided imagination. This is a very simple verse. The problem with simple verses is they tend to go in one ear and out the other. That’s where Christian meditation comes in. You focus your mind on envisioning that simple verse and then suddenly it becomes a powerful image for you. I think that’s true of this verse. Jeremiah 17:7 NIV “...Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.” Who can you share this podcast with? • A Short Meditation on God Specifically Creating YOU from Zechariah 12:1
    Dec 11 2025
This is Christian Meditation for A Bigger Life – a time for you to relax your body and refocus your mind to experience the reality of God’s presence. I’m Dave Cover. I want to help you with Christian meditation where you can break through all the distractions and experience God’s presence through biblically guided imagination. Zechariah 12:1 (NIV) “The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person.” The God who created this universe also specifically created you. Your body (psalm 139). And your very spirit. You. “LORD. You are the creator of this universe. And you created me. Specifically me. Because of your steadfast love and your goodness. I exist because out of your infinite goodness steadfast love you want me to exist. I exist because of you. I exist for you. I exist through you. And your will for me is infinite goodness and overflowing joy and steadfast love. And I reject the evil that is always trying to trick me into thinking goodness and love is found somewhere else apart from you. You are worthy of my worship. You are worthy of my obedience. You are worthy of my trust. You are worthy of my whole life. And I surrender my whole life to you.” Who can you share this podcast with? • A Short Meditation to Find God’s Peace at Night from Psalm 4:8
    Dec 9 2025
This is Christian Meditation for A Bigger Life – a time for you to relax your body and refocus your mind to experience the reality of God’s presence. I’m Dave Cover. I want to help you with Christian meditation where you can break through all the distractions and experience God’s presence through biblically guided imagination. Getting a good night's sleep is a challenge for almost everyone. Especially when there are circumstances in our life we’re uncertain about or regrets in our life we can’t seem to move past. There’s something about the nighttime that often brings out our anxiety and stress and insecurities more. It’s amazing the difference of how you’ll feel about your life circumstances at 2:00 a.m. versus in the morning when the sun is out. And when we read the Bible we realize this was an issue for David over 3000 years ago as well. Psalms 6:3, 6 (NIV) “My soul is in deep anguish. …All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.” It seems like I’ve had one or two nights like that in my life. But mostly whenever I can’t sleep is when I can’t figure out what to do with my worry or regrets. But David found the ability to sleep when he was able to entrust everything in his life and his life itself into the hands of God. Psalms 3:5 (NIV) “I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.” Psalms 4:8 (NIV) “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” In spite of facing a multitude of enemies and hardships in his life — David is here choosing to trust and rest in the promise that God is in control. And all David can do now is pray to God for help and entrust things into his hands. And that’s all you can do. All the things in your life right now that are causing anxiety, worry, uncertainty — envision yourself putting everything into God’s hands. Ask him to do what you want him to do and then leave things in his hands. He may or may not do exactly what you want because he sees the total big picture, but things will turn out ultimately right for you when you trust them into the hands of a loving and good God.
