  • SUMMER LISTENING: A Brutally Honest Review Of Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Season 2
    Dec 22 2025

This summer we are curating your Cancelled podcast playlist, bringing you the insanely popular and always funny - Brutally Honest Reviews from our friends on The Spill.

This week, we’re diving pom-poms first into Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and let’s just say, it’s not all rhinestones and high kicks.

In our brutally honest review, we break down the fights these women took on behind the scenes, from their long-overdue push for better pay, to the toll of representing one of the most iconic (and controlling) sports brands in the world.

Yes, there’s been progress, but we’re also talking about the areas where the system still gets it wrong, especially when it comes to diversity, body image, and the pressure to be "perfect."

We unpack the surprising twists, the darker moments you might not expect, and the very real power dynamics at play, on and off the field.

Plus, Ksenija shares her insider scoop from the modelling world, drawing some striking (and frankly disturbing) parallels between runway life and the DCC machine: the unattainable beauty standards, the constant critiques, and the pressure to smile through it all.

I love these girls. It reminds me of hanging out with school mates - but in the best way. Laughing at their own jokes, taking off British accents, brainstorming ridiculous situations … nowhere better to be. Love indulging in it and these Megan one’s are perfect for all of the above 🥰 makes me wonder how anyone could take this stuff seriously again once you see how nuts it all is through their eyes.

Those accents and the chuckles
