Once at the shore - we were DELIGHTED to be reunited with the wine-red haired traitor herself: Ansel of Briarcliff! Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! We are so excited to continue our Empire of Storms coverage with chapters 38-42.

In the aftermath of Deanna's takeover and defeat of the Valg fleet, we finally get the moment we've all been waiting for: Aelin and Rowan seal the deal by claiming eachother on the beach!!! Post romance, Aelin finally comes clean to everyone about having had a wyrdkey in her possession the entire time. They proceed to ring up Elena on the wyrd-line, where she reiterates Aelin's mission to get the wyrkeys and the lock, while also confirming that Mala Firebringer was indeed her mother who gave up her immortal life to craft the lock. With the lock mission more important than ever, they set sail for Eyllwe. Along the way, they run into a barely conscious Manon Blackbeak flying toward them thanks to Abraxos. Meanwhile, Elide and Lorcan have a terrifying set of chapters when the ilken come back to haunt them yet again. Lorcan manages to kill them off, but not before they reveal Elide's true identity to him. This leads to another truth reveal, but they ultimately decide to stay together because, well, she's still his "wife" after all.

Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! We are so excited to continue our Empire of Storms coverage with chapters 30-37. BUCKLE UP FOLKS CUZ WHAT A SET OF CHAPTERS!

Aelin stiff arms Rolfe into allying with her by calling the valg to Skull's Bay (which we have many feelings about that because it was quite literally insane). Despite her risky business, we still thought "what could go wrong?" WELL, turns out Deanna, who has been "hunting" Aelin her whole life, was lurking in the dimensions of the world just waiting for Aelin to use her power with the wyrdkey. Deanna takes over Aelin's body, and it's only the voice of her lover - Rowan - that bring her back to herself, thus preventing the annihilation of Skull's Bay. As if that wasn't enough, our favorite shifter basically has to take out Erawan's ships and FIVE sea wyverns all on her own. The fact that they all lived to see another day is quite literally a miracle. All that and more on today's episode!
