This book changed the way I looked at the traumatic things I have dealt with in life and towards those that had caused them. It has allowed me to realise that these situations hold a bigger meaning and were not just an unlucky happening or a deserved punishment but had significance in my growth towards my purpose. It has allowed me to forgive those that have caused me great pain and let go of the hate and questions of why they hurt me so bad. Although I am still not inline with my souls plan I am aware that I have one and I believe i have found at least one of the areas I need to work on which will lead me to my true potential, this being self love. Though I have always and still continue to struggle with loving myself and I am yet to fully grasp the ability of this self love and belief, I no longer dismiss the fact that I deserve this and need this to move forward and no longer see it as a act of selfishness or being full of one's self. I know that it is the key to my happiness and needed to fulfill my purpose. This book has made me look at things so differently than I have ever been able to before and for that I am forever grateful. Thankyou.

I couldn't stop listening to this. Every chance I got I listened. Truly expansive, inspiring and profound in it's wisdoms offered. Perception is everything and mine has shifted and widened from this book.

I was familiar with Robert Schwartz's work and own a copy of his second title "Your Soul's Gift" but was recently drawn back to it (explained below). This work can help pull you out of victim mentality and bring about a greater awareness of why things may unfold the way they do. That doesn't negate that we experience suffering and pain on Earth, however it does seek to understand why we do. It made me feel a deep compassion, empathy and understanding for everyone around me and I hope to carry this quality as I continue to move through different life experiences.

The reason I was drawn back into this work was triggered by the sudden and unexpected passing of a friend in an accident. It helped me regain perspective and I began to feel at peace. This work provides a balanced perspective too - even though there were greater dynamics at play and whilst I may now understand it better - it's still important to go through the process of grieving to be able to release the energy/pain (I have found other literature sometimes skips over this important and natural part of being human - to experience emotions). Highly recommended
