Inspiring but a little overwhelming
I really loved how detailed and specific this was but at times I felt like the sheer number of things to do plus all the supplements that it was unachievable for a busy working mum of three, this left me feeling a bit disappointed and overwhelmed. I thought it was saved by the final chapter, which, despite the super long list of supplements in his program, the rest was somewhat possible.

So much information on living your healthiest life
I've listened to many of Mark Hyman's podcasts and find his style is informative and engaging, and this book was also! Mark has a way of sharing such a broad array of information that it could leave you feeling overwhelmed with all the things you could, and probably should, do to improve your health. However, his laid back style enables the reader to consider what is best for them considering their unique circumstances. I gained some great insights into the world of Functional Medicine and thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Practical, evidence based info
Thank you Dr Hyman for actually bringing together this comprehensive Spirit Mind Body approach to optimising personal health. It is a lot to digest (pun intended) so I will be visiting your Massachusetts clinic later this year for assessments and advice about how to enhance my current health and wellbeing practices. Motivational Plus
Love the nutrition. exercise and mental health advice. It covers all aspects of mind, body, spirit. Absolutely loved this book, after reading Lifespan. A definite ‘must read!’ I’ve purchased copies to sell in my home-based small clinic, that’s how much I believe in the principles of the book. Thank you Mark for your abundance of knowledge and skill.
