Story
Millions are satisfied to sit through hour-long, weekly religious services. Millions more have left the church, brokenhearted and cynical. But God is waking up his people - people who will risk everything and sacrifice anything to become the dynamic, powerful church seen in Scripture. We Are Church calls Christ-followers, young and old, to hold fast to their biblical roots while seeking radical change. Scripture promises an exuberant and unstoppable church. That wondrous early church of acts can be our reality today.

Story
The God of the universe - the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor - loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do's and don'ts - it's falling in love with God.

The Song of Solomon offers strikingly candid - and timeless - insights on romance, dating, marriage, and sex. We need it. Because emotions rise and fall with a single glance, touch, kiss, or word. And we are inundated with songs, movies, and advice that contradicts God's design for love and intimacy. Matt Chandler helps navigate these issues for both singles and marrieds by revealing the process Solomon himself followed: Attraction, Courtship, Marriage... even Arguing.

Story
Timothy Keller focuses on Jesus' best-known parable - the prodigal son - as a paradigm for the central messages of Christianity: grace, hope and salvation. In The Prodigal God, New York pastor Timothy Keller uses the story of the prodigal son to shine a light on the beautiful central message of Jesus: the gospel of grace, hope and salvation. Keller argues that the parable of the prodigal son, while Jesus' best-known parable, is also his least understood.

Yet so many people struggle with prayer - a struggle that the author himself has shared. That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. By outward metrics, everything appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren't pretty. So he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: 'Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life.' Publisher's Summary
Marriage is great, but it's not forever. It's until death do us part.
Then come eternal rewards or regrets depending on how we spent our lives. In his latest book, Francis Chan joins together with his wife Lisa to address the question many couples wonder at the altar: "How do I have a healthy marriage?" Setting aside typical topics on marriage, Francis and Lisa dive into Scripture to understand what it means to have a relationship that satisfies the deepest parts of our souls. In the same way Crazy Love changed the way we saw our personal relationship with God, You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity will radically shift the way we see one of the most important relationships in our life. Jesus was right. We have it all backwards. The way to have a great marriage is by not focusing on marriage.
Whether you are single, dating or married, You and Me Forever will help you discover the adventure that you were made for and learn how to thrive in it. 100% of the net profits from You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity will go towards providing food, shelter and rehabilitation for thousands of orphaned children and exploited women in partnership with global charities.

Had very good start but as I got toward the end of the book, I felt it became a bit repetitive. I don't know if I found it that way because I don't have child, I am not sure. But over all I thought it was a great book with a great message behind it and his voice is so soothing to the ear :)

Only if you are ready to die to self...
This book was a struggle to listen to, not because of the material and how it is presented, but because I know it is the truth. The 1st chapter scared me, so I had to set it aside a day or 2 and pray and ask God to prepare me for its content and help me to apply His truth to my life. I hope my spouse is as driven or more driven than I would like to be, but if he is not, it does not relieve me of my responsibility...for I will answer to God for myself. I believe this book shares God's heart for marriage and family. As Christians, we need to quit playing and get busy with God's business! Thank You Francis and Lisa

Life changing and inspiring
This is not your traditional marriage book. There are no checklists and formulas but one clear, strong message about the gospel. That being said, it's the best marriage advice I've read in 15 years.
This is also not just for married people. The majority of the content is applicable regardless of marital status.
The fact that it's narrated by the authors makes it like listening to a podcast. Much better than other audibles I've purchased in this regard.
Highly recommend for those who are ready to be inspired and challenged (but I did also go buy a hard copy because I wanted to really underline, asterisk and mark this up!)

Amazing
I'm a single Christ-follower. This book encourages me all the more to focus on the mission Lord Jesus has given: to make disciples. And to live in radical faith, radical obedience and radical love to God.. It also convinces me even further to remain single unless I meet someone who shares the same love and passion I have for God, for people and for His mission. One who'd help me be more effective in my mission.

Confusing
It has little practical advice. There is emphasis on the fact that marriage is important but not that important very conflicting message. Our marriage is to be a reflection of God's love, many of the positive aspects of marriage were downplayed. He uses lots of scripture, which is great, but good interpretation is lacking and many times he contradicted himself. Author presents as self righteousness in book with lots of legalistic views. Very harsh rhetoric around how you should feel and respond, that doesn't fit with the Bible's message of compassion and grace. The condescending tone in the book was very disappointing and confusing. I really wanted to get something out of it but was left mostly conflicted, confused, and condemned.

Okay
It seems like personal narrative from a young family with a limited perspective on real life. As a mother to six grown children and grandmother to four, I can say there are a lot of incredible principles here that should be heard and followed. However, there are several indicators that the Chans hadn’t really experienced a lot of issues that might make them a bit more merciful to those in circumstances that differ from their own (which is the majority of us).
