life changing is a perfect summary. I purchased the book and listened to it in 3 days, driving to and from work and while sitting at home working on anything else. very inspirational and honestly gave me a new mindset on life. I then waited a day or two and listened to it again. brilliant.

I began listening to this book while considering a career change. While I was feeling stuck in a profession I’d try to excel in for 10 years (without huge success), I yearned to find something more creative with higher salaries promised and no expectations of unpaid overtime... Jen Sincero’s book helped me lift my head high and seek the change I wanted.

I’m Australian, so at times felt it was “very American”... However, I overlooked this as the content is accessible, often humorously out while also being hard hitting. It was a fun book to work through and I found myself returning to certain sections to get my ass kicked again.

Thanks Jen - I’ve now landed a job in a career I think I’ll love. I also managed to negotiate a higher salary and overtime is not expected, but if required will be paid or given in time in lieu... Career + life change ahoy!!!
