About this listen

An apocalyptic LitRPG adventure featuring an intelligent MC, a unique power system, alchemy, and more!

Survive a hellish forest. Master a rare class. Conquer the System.

When Mira’s home is destroyed by gods, she makes two requests to the System that sends her to another world: to be sent to an isolated forest where she can avoid the violent path to godhood, and to gain magic that helps her live and thrive in the forest.

She is granted both, though in the harshest way possible.

The System strands her in a dangerous forest where half the plants are poisonous, the rivers teem with souls, and even the smallest beasts lay waste to experienced adventurers.

To survive such perilous conditions, she uses her modern knowledge of botany and chemistry to create clever traps and weapons, all while learning powerful magic and combat skills alongside her fiercely loyal cat.

Nobody believes she stands a chance. But in a world where the system rewards those who overcome dangerous challenges, the forest is a gold mine.

And while most people would give up, Mira realizes something that surprises her...

She enjoys it.

Experience the start of this unique spin on Apocalyptic LitRPG Adventures. Botanists who choose to get teleported into dangerous jungles are very rare and if Mira can survive, she may just become indispensable to the System itself.

Refreshingly different

It was refreshing to see success for the protagonist not from entirely newly gained power, but rather leveraging knowledge and passion from her previous life. Sure she used new abilities, but primarily to augment or able her in the use of botany of all skills.

Can't wait to see where this goes. However, feels a bit like part 1 of something bigger.

Good book

Overall I enjoyed the book, characters were well written and the pacing was nice. I only have one issue with this book and its the character perspective changes, they are frequent and go up in volume the further into the book you are. Narrator did an awesome job!

A breath of fresh air.

This was a surprise, one i very much needed.
I was feeling burnt out with litrpg and this was sort of like a refresher, like cold water dumped over my head.
I feel good and I want to keep listening to more.

It is light on the RPG elements but enough there that you're contented with it.
my only negative is the chapters within chapters, hearing 2 or 3 but without context took a little while to get used to.
and some of the writing seems a little juvenile, but with that i actually like it because it seems like a human wrote it and put love into it and that shows in it, so i approve it highly.

the narrator on the other hand got the emotion across and didn't make me want to stop listening, did a great job at male and female voices and the whole being in a forest came across nicely in her tone and manner of speaking.

I'm really looking forward to Book 2.
