Outstanding story, this book adds a depth to the vlka fenryka unlike any prior stories about the legion. It's worth noting that there is a lot of assumed knowledge as this story is part of the larger Horus Heresy saga and is set in later stages of the holistic storyline.

This book brought alive the vlka fenryka like i have never known before. Jonathan Keeble did such an amazing job he should be commended for his talent and skill.

Any fans of the space wolves MUST listen to this. It is too good to pass up.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been some of the background sound effects similar to the other warhammer 40k audio books.

Really enjoyed this book, and im not usually a Space Wolf fan. Guy Haley did a really good job bringing them to life in a well considered and engaging way in this book.

I didnt particuarly rate his author work before this book, but ill keep an eye out from now on.

This was one of the best books out of the series so far, most space wolf books are top notch and this didn’t disappoint!

Definitely a must read for those who love the Vlka Fenryka. A tip would be to make sure you read the following first so you understand the full scope.

- Prospero Burns/ A Thousand Sons
- Ruinstorm
- Vengeful Spirit
- Wolf King (Novella)

These aren't "required reading" but it will help avoid spoilers.

Keeble is amazing as always, and deffinitely pulls you into the story.

This next saga of Russ and The Rout and their clash with the Warmaster and Traitor Legions is unmissable. Fantastic plot and narration. Really enjoyable even if one is not a fan of the Space Wolves. That aside, this audiobook sets up the next advance of Horus and his lackeys. Highly recommended!
