About this listen

Don't miss the Wizard's Tower Books 1-3 Box Set, a LitRPG adventure about a cranky wizard who seeks solitude in orer to uncover all of the mysteries of magic.

The humans call me Nemon Fargus. They call me wizard, and [Elementalist] and [Enchanter]. They call me teacher. They call me adventurer.

But I don't care. Not anymore.

For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four Kings and a Queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks.

But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

Now, I'm looking for a refuge, a place that can well and truly be my own. Away from the growing cities and the bustling markets, away from the pointless wars, away from the eager students and the arrogant adventurers.

I'm seeking the peaceful life of a wizard in his tower, studying magic to advance my spellcraft...We'll see if that happens.

Experience this LitRPG Series Bundle from Gregory Allanther, the bestselling author of An Old Man's Journey.

nothing interesting really happens, it's just a bit slow. I was hopeful for some parts but kept losing interest. I think I probably will manage to finish it though

it's a bit boring

Pretty good story with excellent narrators. Burn the carrots, the true nemesis of the world

the idea behind it was good, but it just comes down to a 200 year old elven wizard who is just joyless and bland. humans are short lived and not worth his time. yet he takes them on to teach
through out the atory he finds things that could help or usefull information but they get put away and never used or talked about. there is a running "joke" through out about the evilness of carrots and how good couches are, but none of them are actually funny or entertaining.
the story is just his point of view broken up by some side character story lines, used to advance the story.
honestly I'd only listen to it if you want a long back ground story you don't need to pay much attention too.

great premise meh story
