In a world where vampires run pharmacies, dwarves flip haunted houses, and your mechanic is a gremlin with a fixation on monster trucks, it's never boring being a slayer.

When keeping the world safe from horrors from beyond the veil, you have to expect the unexpected.

Like the mayor and her coven of witches trying to recruit your girlfriend. Or the new drug on the streets turning people into mushroom-infested monsters. Or the FBI working overtime to cover up half a cornfield going missing.

But, oh well. Keeps life interesting, if nothing else.

Shotgun Sorcery 2 is Jay Aury's latest book! Featuring conspiracy theorist kitsunes, ancient spirits with an appreciation for mid 2000's pop music, witches with anger issues, and more zombies than you can shake a stick at. This men's adventure is sure to delight.

Jay Aury balances humour, action, adventure, and spice like a Michelin star chef. I love the chemistry and banter between the characters, as well as Kane's world-weary attitude. Very gruff and manly, like a middle-aged, disillusioned Buffy who chain-smokes a pack a day. Had me laughing all throughout. Definitely a top-notch listen.

A brilliant second instalment
