Publisher's Summary

As the Uncrowned King tournament reaches its final rounds, tensions between the competing factions are higher than ever. The outcome may determine the power balance throughout the rest of the world.

Each Monarch schemes to seize any advantage they can...while far away, a Dreadgod stirs.

When the tournament ends, the Dreadgod will rise. Whether it will be driven back into the sea or allowed to rampage depends on the Monarchs.

And on which of them is left standing.

More Battles

As per the previous book in the series, in Wintersteel we find ourselves watching Lindon and Yerin fight their way through a host of one on one battles. It's a fun book with some great chemistry, but I did yearn for a little more variety by the end. A certain character's spiritual growth felt a little forced, but all in all this was a good book. If you liked the previous, you'll like this one too.

What a knockout!

Consider, a story fleshed out with political, social and high fantasy concepts, woven into dialogue and satisfying detail like tapestry across 8 segments. That's the series of cradle. There isn't enough written and said to me, that really satisfies me, but it's everything I ever wanted, and more! Travis Baldree has me in love, except it's all Will Wight's words. My soul is torn, but this is what I wanted... "Gratitude!"

The best one yet

This volume seemed to contain the perfect mix of everything. Will Wight once again blew me away with his amazing storytelling as we continued to see immense growth is his characters.
