Publisher's Summary

Before World War II could reach its conclusion, the world suffered what could only be defined as a cataclysm. Now, Yosemite city stands as the gateway between two worlds and an equal power in the continent. Unfortunately, it’s surrounded on all sides by those who would love to see them fail: the empire in the west, a king to the east, and the tri-lliance of the wastes to the south.

Standing at the top of Yosemite is the warrior king Vince, a ranger turned city state ruler. Supporting him in his endeavors is his inner circle. With a firm grasp on Yosemite, Vince has solidified his borders. He’s gotten the army trained to an elite status. He’s given his people a peaceful lifestyle with an economy that grows year over year. Yosemite is well and truly prospering.

There is a delicate balance between nations in military and trade, however. One that is going to be upended with a skirmish in the lands of southern Yosemite.

The bullseye Vince had worked so hard to remove is back, and bigger than ever. All anyone can do now is prepare for the storm.

Warning: This novel contains adult themes and moral ambiguities. The main character is portrayed as a real person in an apocalypse and will not make choices that line up with society and cultural norms.

This story contains a harem and is an Adult Fantasy novel.

Wild Wastes: Southern Storm

I am relishing to this book and I can't believe I did not review this book.

Randi Darren (William d Arand) is one of my favorite author's and I enjoyed this
work how he add all of his stories together.
From his Selfless Hero series to Super sales on Super Heroes to this series and more

And with the voice acting talents and skills of Andrea Parsneau who makes the characters and world come alive with the narration of this book.

So I invite you to listen to and owned this book or buy the ebook it's a must to owned.

Great story and romance

Just enough romance and rude stuff. Exactly what I wanted. Might not be for some people. But great for me

FUCKING SERIOUSLY RANDI DARREN

listen I'm not the type of asshole that's going to give you spoilers but here is a spoiler that everybody will enjoy Randi Darren is it fucking dick he writes a great three-part book series leaves on a cliffhanger and then shows no signs of continuing to write the wildway series even though this deserves at least two more fucking books especially when you realize that the wildway series and the super sales on Super Heroes series are connected and for some reason that series only has three books to even though there's no for these two writers to continue writing especially when it's going to make them money and I have become a fan who would do anything to get two more wild wastes books the series was fantastic I'm not going to give you any spoilers I'm just going to tell you to read it but also right Randi Darren and protest cuz he does the shit all the time writes a great book or a great three-part book series and does not continue and it's frustrating don't believe me when you're done with these books read Fostering Faust.

Out of the Park!

Randi Darren knocks another one out of the park with Wild Wastes: Southern Storm. I loved the way he was able to incorporate characters from his Otherlife series and William D Arands, Super Sales on Super Heroes. The Wild Wases series as a whole is a great listen as Andrea Parsneau does an extent job of voicing each character and incorporating the emotions and inflection of each character. You almost feel like your listening to a movie play out.

Wild Wastes: Southern Storm is a roller coaster ride with great highs and lows. Character development is elaborate and thought out without giving too much away. You get to infer how some elements of the store are playing out in the background. I highly recommend this series and for something lighter on the adult content, pick up William D Arands, Super Sales on Super Heores. You won't be disappointed!

Loved it

Enjoyed another story in the Wastes. Enjoyed the crossover material from the author's other works. Narrator did an amazing job as usual. Looking forward to what comes next.

Solid end to the trilogy

This series was my first foray into this genre and it was a great listen on several levels. I enjoyed the blend of elements and writing style. Andrea Parsneau displays an incredible breadth and depth to her performance and truly brings this one to life.

Waiting for another in this series.

This narrator is working out to be in my top 3 narrators. The voices are different enough through tone and accents that it's far easier to tell what character is speaking than other narrators.

Author really caught me off guard with the tie-in to another series. Made it that much more fun. Hadn't really looked into what series the author had already put out, but much to my surprise I had already listened to the other series and the tie-in had me giggling. Universe building that worked great.

finally a happy ending

so with this being a connected Universe for all the trilogies under both pen names the endings are not really endings. the first Trilogy which was other life kind of had a bittersweet ending and if you didn't know any better would constitute an ending. I however started with monster Mercy which is how I discovered that it was a connected universe and while reading supersale discovered that it was with the trilogies under both pen names.

Porn for 14 yo boys

Excruciating. I gave it a chance and tried hard to find something good on this book, but the author spends half of the time describing his sexual exploits. I hoped it would eventually develop into a story, but I could only stand 4 hours before giving up. Complete waste of a credit.

Not bad, but ready to move on.

This book was worth my time, but I feel the series has run out of gas. Removing characters from the spotlight to allow for more wives to be found was a good way to deal with overcrowding of characters in the last book, but now it is just kind of silly. There are to many characters and none of them really have any screen time.

The big bonus to this book is the tie in with the William D. Arand world. This gave the story a lot more excitement and it felt like things were new again. Even this though has made the current story world a little boring, and if there are any more books in this series, I'm hoping for something completely different on a new world.

overall, not bad but nothing special.

CHOCKING!!!

Loved this book.
I did not see the twist that was coming in this book, with some of the characters that was introduced.
As a dragon fan, I sincerely approve of what has transpired in this book.
Makes me want to hear more of what will happen on that front, or if that was it!?

SPOILER AND RECOMMENDATION!

Read the:
Otherworld series AND Super sales on Super Heroes. Prefferably in that order.
Both by William D. Arand.
So that you understand what has happend in this book.

this trilogy needs a book 4

another excellent story, however I believe the story needs finishing off or at least another book due to that cliffhanger and plothole. also read Super Sales for Superheroes book 3 because it's crosses over with it.

Got bored by this point

The first book actually surprised me and although it is quite explicit, a fucked up part of me wanted to carry on listening. Tbh, I had enough by the end of the second book. So it was no surprise that I couldn't finish this book fast enough. I have to say that the Narration through out has been superb. With SO SO many characters to voice, she manages to give each character a unique voice. I can't help but feel that Randi Darren got lucky to get her as his narrator.

Enjoyable series

I have enjoyed the series and the reference's / crossover to the super sale on super heroes books.
I'm glad I read/listened to the first two super sales books first bofore reading the three waste books, it helped with the introduction of crossover caricatures. Would recommend to all but be aware these are ADULT Books and at times are graphic. Both in the fighting and the XXX parts😉.

Great, amazing, I cried more then I should have!

So ummm a bit of spoilers here so if you are reading it before actually listening to the book, you should stop here. I’m not talking any responsibility for any spoilers below and you are reading it at your own disposal.

Sooo, omg Petra and others. And the crossover with SSOSH, they are all one big family now and I didn’t expect Felix to be that way. He always seem more awkward with feelings. Can’t wait to see the other side of the story in ssosh 3. And lastly, Runnnnner and he mentioned the sculpture at the end and if you read Otherlife Trilogy it’s rather obvious he meant Naden and all those feelings came back. I’m curious if it was also him in the ssosh when felix needed help and can’t wait see what the favour is.

Brilliant

I just 're-read the 3 books again and I enjoyed every minute. I hope there're several more books in this series, I like Vince's story more than any other character of Randi Darren's books. I like how interesting the story is getting and it has a little bit of everything. Can't wait for the next book.
