WOW.... What a great audio book

This was truly an amazing job of an audio visual story. I cried , laughed, swooned, and so many more feels. Could not put the story down. First story for me from Melissa Foster. Won't be my last. Recommend highly. And who in the heck is that delicious man on the front cover of the audio book? Fanning my face, eyes bugging out, has jaw dropped open?!!!!!

Great book!

This was a pretty good read that enjoyed like the other books in this series. Bones and Sarah were a well written characters with chemistry once Sarah let down her walls. Sarah with her troubled past and the recent events that plagued her made her such a strong character and woman that i enjoyed reading. Bones was a tender, caring man that made me swoon a bit for him especially when it came to Sarah's kids. Their story was heartbreaking at times and I could not get enough. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books so that one could catch up with them and see what is happening with them after their HEA. The narration by Mr Webber and Ms. Mallon was enjoyable and the pair did a great job bringing this story to life. I especially enjoyed the renditions of the children's voices throughout the story. I can't wait to see where this series will go next and who will get their next HEA. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Good book, but Zachary Webber made it bearable...

Ok, I just finished this title. I had to stop myself many times from submitting a review before I finished it due to my irritation with the narration (as told down below). The story was good - though too rushed at times, and I found myself back tracking a bit to see if I had missed some pertinent piece of the story to explain my confusion. I really liked the whole "family comes first" idea in this story, and how the characters were portrayed to always have each other's backs. While some of it was a little too out there, most of it blended in a good way. I also found out that I like the way Maggie Rose sings (won't go further into this as I don't want to detail things like that) and have downloaded a few of her songs. I wish the ending would have ended differently - maybe what is now the "prologue" should have been the end, with a prologue of life after all of the events unfolded becoming the closure to the book. But that's just me. Ok, now for the downside; the narration. Zachary Webber did a great job as always - I really like the way he reads stories and knows when and how to put the emotion into it. I don't think I have listened to him narrate a book that wasn't spot on really. Erin Mallon however, I could do without. She read just fine when she was "in character", but while she narrated out of her character I just kept finding myself saying "ugh" and "gah, next chapter please". Her constant "breathy" tone, and the never-ending way she draws out the consonants of the last word of a sentence (for example: he was a great helperrrrrrrrrr; I am a good motherrrrrrrrr; meeeeeee; the letter doesn't matter, it was just drug out to the point of fingernails on a chalkboard) caused me to grit my teeth. Why she didn't just keep her "in character" tone and fluctuations is beyond me, it would have made the entire experience so much better in my opinion. Alllllll of that being said, it was a good listen, worth the money/credit - if your nerves can handle ittttttttttttt.

Narration for Sara

I really had a very hard time getting through this book with Erin Mallon narrating for Sara. I found myself repeating her last few words of each sentence out loud because she held onto them for several seconds. I would roll my eyes everytime it was her turn to narrate. I made it through to the end mainly because I wanted to see how it played out and of course just to listen to Zachary Webber's voice. At this point I search for books he Narrates. Because of this it was hard to have a connection between Sara and Bones.

HOT HOT HOT!!!

If you are looking for the story of a HOT guy who also has a sweet side and a woman who is strong but wants to be rescued then this is the story for you. Bones is a biker doctor who is as caring as he is strong. The love that he has in his heart is the kind of love every girl wishes to have.

Sarah is a single mother of 2 with one on the way. She is very wary due to her history with men. Sarah was in an auto accident which introduced her to the Whiskey's. Now she is in their circle which is probably the best place for her to be.

This story has just the right amount of heat without heading in the trashy side. Romance, Motorcycles, and Family what else can you ask for!!

Gave me chills.

WOW! I have yet to pick my heart up off the floor.  Wicked Whiskey Love is the type of story that's hard to forget.  Having read Sarah and Bones' emotion packed journey in the past, I knew what to expect, but experiencing the audio gave me chills. Mallon and Webber bring to life an already powerful tale of heartbreak.  Through the eyes of a battered heart and a bruised body, Melissa Foster provided the words, that inspired the hope, that feeds the journey and gives a voice to those living in silence.

Narration

I love this series and the author. Zachary is really good at narrating all stories I have heard him do but I cannot stand Erin's narration. I am still trying to make it past the first part of this book but I think I am going to have to delete it and just read it myself. I can't stand the way she drags out the words and just listening to her ruins the books for me.

A zillion stars!

I listened to the audio version of this book. This series by Melissa Foster is much more intense than the other series I've read by her and I totally love the difference. The Whiskey men are tattooed (and in some cases pierced), motor cycle riding men who stand up to protect those who aren't able to help themselves. They also have a super soft side when it comes to their women, their children and the others that they love. It's hard to even describe how these books warm up certain parts of your body and turn others to total mush. I really hope Ms. Foster continues to do more of this type of book.
The dual narration of Wicked Whiskey Love by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber was incredible. They pairing rivaled the Arndt and York. I especially appreciated the sexy slowness of Webber and the dynamics used by Mallon. The pair were just wonderful to listen to and the performance added so much to the story! Just a great job all the way around.

Dr. Bones Whiskey...swoon!

I just love the Whiskey family! Bunch of huge, bad@$$ bikers who look out for the downtrodden and abused. What’s NOT to like?
This is the story of the 3rd brother and oncologist, Wayne aka Bones. Bones is insanely attracted to single mother, Sara, as well as her 2 small children. The progression of the relationship was sweet...come on now, a guy falling for a pregnant mom of 2...swoon. Bones is patient with the skittish Sara, always assuring her that he wants nothing in exchange for his love. Sara finally accepts Bones and his family at face value but is still afraid that her past will come back to haunt her. Can the Bones and the rest of the Whiskeys convince Sara to give love a chance?
