With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. This was truly an amazing job of an audio visual story. I cried , laughed, swooned, and so many more feels. Could not put the story down. First story for me from Melissa Foster. Won't be my last. Recommend highly. And who in the heck is that delicious man on the front cover of the audio book? Fanning my face, eyes bugging out, has jaw dropped open?!!!!!

Unpopular opinions ahead

I LOVE Zachary Webber. He can read to me every night and I’ll never tire of it. I think Erin Mallon gets unfairly criticized. She and Ava Erickson are my fave female narrators to complement him. She’s snappy and adds a sexy, quick wit to dialogue. I like Andy Arndt, but her voice can be overly sappy and emotional — she good for longing and heartache, but that’s not my cup of tea. I love Erin and Zach. Sexy and hot in every duo of theirs I’ve read. Liked this book, loved the real deal by Lauren Blakely— I you haven’t listened- it’s hot!

An exquisite story in audio

I haven’t read a Melissa Foster book I didn’t like. But Wicked Whiskey Love was an exquisite read. And the contributions of narrators Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber made it even better to listen to. The Whiskey’s are gritty, coarse, compassionate and true dichotomies from Biggs and his sons to mom, Red and daughter, Dixie. After all, they are part of a motorcycle club. Bones is also an exceptional oncologist, homeless shelter volunteer and all around good guy. Through the good works of his brother Bullet he meets Sarah and her family. She has had a horrible and abusive childhood and is just beginning to overcome obstacles. But Bones and his family have been supportive and helpful to Sarah and her children and brother Scott.

If you like an all encompassing emotional read; love, anger, heartbreak and triumph; you will love Wicked Whiskey Love. I am truly impressed by the imagination and writing talent of Melissa Foster. Just when you think you have read her best, she blows it out of the park with her next offering. Ten golden stars for Wicked Whiskey Love in both the written and audio formats.

Captivating!

WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is one of the most captivating books I have ever had the privilege to read or listen too. With a storyline that just hits every note and just flows like a song. It’s a literal must have!
FYI, I’ve actually to the audio so many times I just lost track. Yes, it’s that amazing!

4.5 Dr. McDreamy Stars!

This Whiskey series just keeps getting better and better! We met Sarah and her family in the last book when Bullet Whiskey saved them from a fiery crash. Bones checked up on them while they were in the hospital and fell fast and hard for the single, pregnant mother of two toddlers. Bones overthinks and plans every move he makes, but the kind, and loving mother with secrets calls to him, and he will do whatever it takes to care for, and protect them, and make them his. Sarah has had a tragic life, and finds it hard to trust the new kind and selfless, friends she has made in the Whiskey's. Especially Bones, the sexy doctor who is so wonderful with her kids, and makes her feel things that scare her. This story touches on some very heartbreaking topics and I love how Foster treats them with such empathy and honesty, having me in tears at times. This emotional, and steamy romance was made even better by Erin Mallon, and Zachary Webber's flawless narration. They did a great job bringing out the complex emotions that Bones and Sarah struggled with. Their inflections were spot on and their intonations helped to make this romance even more captivating! I especially thought their children's voices were amazing! This family saga has really captured my heart, and I can't wait for more from the Whiskey's!

Great book!

This was a pretty good read that enjoyed like the other books in this series. Bones and Sarah were a well written characters with chemistry once Sarah let down her walls. Sarah with her troubled past and the recent events that plagued her made her such a strong character and woman that i enjoyed reading. Bones was a tender, caring man that made me swoon a bit for him especially when it came to Sarah's kids. Their story was heartbreaking at times and I could not get enough. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books so that one could catch up with them and see what is happening with them after their HEA. The narration by Mr Webber and Ms. Mallon was enjoyable and the pair did a great job bringing this story to life. I especially enjoyed the renditions of the children's voices throughout the story. I can't wait to see where this series will go next and who will get their next HEA. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

HOT HOT HOT!!!

If you are looking for the story of a HOT guy who also has a sweet side and a woman who is strong but wants to be rescued then this is the story for you. Bones is a biker doctor who is as caring as he is strong. The love that he has in his heart is the kind of love every girl wishes to have.

Sarah is a single mother of 2 with one on the way. She is very wary due to her history with men. Sarah was in an auto accident which introduced her to the Whiskey's. Now she is in their circle which is probably the best place for her to be.

This story has just the right amount of heat without heading in the trashy side. Romance, Motorcycles, and Family what else can you ask for!!

UPDATE - Still wish Narration was different

05/14/19 - Well, I listened to this book again, and my comments below are still firmly in place. I wish Andi Arndt had narrated the female character in this story - would have made it so much better!

Ok, I just finished this title. I had to stop myself many times from submitting a review before I finished it due to my irritation with the narration (as told down below). The story was good - though too rushed at times, and I found myself back tracking a bit to see if I had missed some pertinent piece of the story to explain my confusion. I really liked the whole "family comes first" idea in this story, and how the characters were portrayed to always have each other's backs. While some of it was a little too out there, most of it blended in a good way. I also found out that I like the way Maggie Rose sings (won't go further into this as I don't want to detail things like that) and have downloaded a few of her songs. I wish the ending would have ended differently - maybe what is now the "prologue" should have been the end, with a prologue of life after all of the events unfolded becoming the closure to the book. But that's just me. Ok, now for the downside; the narration. Zachary Webber did a great job as always - I really like the way he reads stories and knows when and how to put the emotion into it. I don't think I have listened to him narrate a book that wasn't spot on really. Erin Mallon however, I could do without. She read just fine when she was "in character", but while she narrated out of her character I just kept finding myself saying "ugh" and "gah, next chapter please". Her constant "breathy" tone, and the never-ending way she draws out the consonants of the last word of a sentence (for example: he was a great helperrrrrrrrrr; I am a good motherrrrrrrrr; meeeeeee; the letter doesn't matter, it was just drug out to the point of fingernails on a chalkboard) caused me to grit my teeth. Why she didn't just keep her "in character" tone and fluctuations is beyond me, it would have made the entire experience so much better in my opinion. Alllllll of that being said, it was a good listen, worth the money/credit - if your nerves can handle ittttttttttttt.

Narration for Sara

I really had a very hard time getting through this book with Erin Mallon narrating for Sara. I found myself repeating her last few words of each sentence out loud because she held onto them for several seconds. I would roll my eyes everytime it was her turn to narrate. I made it through to the end mainly because I wanted to see how it played out and of course just to listen to Zachary Webber's voice. At this point I search for books he Narrates. Because of this it was hard to have a connection between Sara and Bones.

This book was good. Loved the story between Bones & Sarah. Hated the female narrator. As others have posted - the female narrator draws out the end of her words.

Romance with a dark edge

loved the dual narration of Erin Mallory and Zachary Webber.

This great books story is about Sarah and Bones. Sarah meets Bones after having a car accident and he is her doctor.

This is a great sexy story line, with a dark edge.
