Great Narration.
Read through KU whilst also flicking and listening to the audible version too. What a great idea to Read and Listen. Very handy using my headphones when doing stuff around the house. I don’t lose the flow of the story.
Will be buying all the audible books over time.
I have to say the narrator for this book was one of the best with an enjoyable narration. Lots of inflections and I could tell most of the characters apart.
BOOK REVIEW
Really enjoyed reading this story and loved the drama with Jamie and her wolf, how intriguingly different.
Having two Other Women causing drama, not so much.
Jamie was such a strong character for me, her constant fight to control her wolf and even planning to have herself put down when the time came, made her someone I admired.
The way she is treated at times showed lack of empathy but was also understandable if unlikeable.
Dante didn’t want a mate, he didn’t want Jamie. Until Jamie stopped chasing him and started seeing other men, then it was all MINE.
Dante was such a nitwit/jerk and though I understood why he was emotionally closed off due to the ex, his you are mine so I can now ignore you attitude, was enough to want to slap him.
Loved how Jamie called him to task and was serious in breaking up with him and not taking his attitude.
Think the ex, Bitch Face, lol, was not punished harshly enough.
Read through KU whilst also flicking and listening to the audible version too.
I started with this author reading the first Phoenix Pack book which was okay. Months later I picked up Mercury Pack book. I enjoyed that enough to start reading them in correct order.

This was a good story. i only wish that Jamie had killed Laurie. I think her punishment was a little light for what she did.

Jaime and Dante are my favourite characters of all the books. I have listened to this book three times now and I still enjoy it. I'm really hoping they get to have a pup in the future.

Engaging and satisfying

I liked this in the beginning, but it dissolved into something that I literally cringed over.
The word "growled" is used in every paragraph, sometimes more than once, and the way the narrator said the word made it all the more painful.
It was predictable and the two lead characters were EXACTLY the same as the lead characters from the previous book.
Two stars is generous.
