Publisher's Summary

The world's foremost entrepreneurial coach shows you how to make a mindset shift that opens the door to explosive growth and limitless possibility - in your business and your life.

Have you ever had a new idea or a goal that excites you...but not enough time to execute it? What about a goal you really want to accomplish...but can't because instead of taking action, you procrastinate? Do you feel like the only way things are going to get done is if you do them? But what if it wasn't that way? What if you had a team of people around you that helped you accomplish your goals (while you helped them accomplish theirs)?

When we want something done, we've been trained to ask ourselves: "How can I do this?" Well, there is a better question to ask. One that unlocks a whole new world of ease and accomplishment. Expert coach Dan Sullivan knows the question we should ask instead: "Who can do this for me?"

This may seem simple. And it is. But don't let the lack of complexity fool you. By mastering this question, you will quickly learn how billionaires and successful entrepreneurs like Dan build incredible businesses and personal freedom.

This audiobook will teach you how to make this essential paradigm-shift so you can:

  • Build a successful business effectively while not killing yourself
  • Immediately free-up 1,000+ hours of work that you shouldn't be doing anyway
  • Bypass the typical scarcity and decline of aging and other societal norms
  • Increase your vision in all areas of life and build teams of WHOs to support you in that vision
  • Never be limited in your goals and ambitions again
  • Expand your abundance of wealth, innovation, relationships, and joy
  • Build a life where everything you do is your choice - how you spend your time, how much money you make, the quality of your relationships, and the type of work you do

Making this shift involves retraining your brain to stop limiting your potential based on what you solely can do and instead focus on the nearly infinite and endless connections between yourself and other people as well as the limitless transformation possible through those connections.

Leadership practical!

Listened to Who Not How in a day, less than a month after hearing the phrase for the first time. As an "ADHD.Rocks" evangelist, I look back on a 25 year career chafing against all the work I did that was a terrible fit. Now that I realize my ADHD is an advantage not a curse, I also know that "procrastination is a que to start lookong for the who", rather than pile up yet another well inspired but undone project. Ben Hardy is a great author and pleaasnt to listen to. The interviews with Dan Sullivan were informative, intimate, and inspiring. The only thing I didn't like about the book is how Hardy knocked yet another three-word book title out of the park. Leave some for the rest of us, Bud!

Who Not How

This was my first Audible purchase and it was an inspiration to listen to. I’ve always been fascinated by collaborative endeavors; garage bands that land a contract, garage inventors who earn a patent, designers who unite rather than fight. This book delves into the “who” (the relationship) of why these teams do so well. Full of inspiring tales and practical steps, this book is worth another listen.

Good main message but drawn out

Very important title message but very drawn out. The entire book could have been done in a blog as opposed to an over 5 hour audible

If you are an entrepreneur this book will change your perspective and supercharge your life.

If you are a visionary leader, Who Not How is the most simple yet profound paradigm shift you can make to leverage your unique ability through the unique ability of others where everyone involved benefits and grows. What is even more remarkable is the way Ben and Dan embody the power of Who Not How in the way the book is written. I strongly recommend you read this book as many times as it takes until Who Not How is a fundamental habit in your life and you are enjoying its remarkable results. As a Strategic Coach alum I can say it works for me every day and it can for you.

Brilliant bot boring

The message of this book has changed the way I think about approaching new ventures and in that way might actually be one of the most impactful books I have listened to or read in years. But once you get the message, everything else is fluff and repetition, which makes it really boring. I didn't love the interview interludes with Dan - they really don't add much. And rather than all the drawn out examples of collaborations I would have much preferred more guidance on how to meet and choose your who's, and how to find a way to afford them in the start up phase of a new venture. More practical stuff like that would have made the book immensely more valuable. As it was, I struggled to finish it.

Asking the question Who uncovers other gold mines

Asking good questions is one of the best paths to success. When you look at the question of WHO you also had to ask the question WHY?. Answering this combination of questions with solid results will give you the best opportunity to be successful. Too often neither of these questions get asked, thus begins the struggles of HOW which can drain the life out of any potential success. We all need to think more before taking action, answering these two questions forces you to think.

Good motivation to find “whos”, but format could use work

This was a really helpful book for pushing me (a mostly solo entrepreneur) to start hiring help to grow my business. The core content is solid and it’s worth a listen. That said, the format of bringing Dan Sullivan in to give his input at the end of each chapter really broke the flow of the book for me. I would have preferred all that unstructured content as a bonus at the end. Also Dr Hardy is clearly a good writer, but 95% of the time I think hiring a pro narrator would have provided a better listening experience - give Sean Pratt a call ;) Overall definitely worth a listen - just have to overlook the sometimes disruptive format and amateur sounding performance/production.

Disappointing

Not much substance to this book. It’s all in the title - you need other people to help you achieve your goals. That’s about it!

A real eye opener

This book really makes you think about the particular areas of your work life and personal life that you don’t enjoy doing, and to focus on finding someone else who can do these for you so you may concentrate on more enjoyable things that will improve your life. I have listened to this twice within the first two weeks. Using Audible is a real time saver for me.

One of the most valuable audiobooks I have listened to, ever! This is the answer we were looking for. Thanks Ben (and Dean) and Dan!
