About this listen

Worldwide we are experiencing an epidemic of fatherless families. The absence of a father in a child's life affects them in numerous unfortunate ways. For some the wounds from being fatherless have lifelong effects. Their stories matter and provide us with opportunities to help them heal. Many resources are available to assist in their healing.

Several brave men have given their testimonies and shared the impact on their lives of being fathered or fatherless. Their stories and their voices confirm that fathers matter.

Our lives are strewn with landscapes of broken promises and wounds. There is only one who is always a promise keeper, and His name is Jesus. All that come to know Him will find that He faithfully heals our wounds and renews our hope. He is a father to the fatherless and a daddy that is always available to listen to us. He is our creator, and He will never leave or forsake us. He vows to never reject anyone that comes to Him. He calls us by name. His words confirm that fathers matter.
