About this listen

Some messages are written in blood.
Some secrets are worth killing for.

Detective Madison Knight is house hunting when a call changes everything. A woman’s body has been found on a residential property—stabbed multiple times, with no weapon in sight.

The victim is a Jane Doe.

The crime scene offers a single clue: two letters scrawled in blood across the floorboards.

GB.

As Madison reconstructs the woman’s final hours, it becomes clear the murder didn’t happen where the body was found. Someone moved her. Someone tried to erase the trail. And whatever the victim was trying to reveal terrified someone enough to kill for it.

As lies unravel and alibis collapse, the danger escalates. This killer isn’t trying to disappear—they’re trying to stay ahead. And as Madison gets closer to the truth, she realizes she’s already in their sights.

A tense, high-pressure crime thriller and police procedural where every clue is a warning.

Book ten in the Detective Madison Knight series.

I found it difficult to complete this book. in fact it took me 5 attempts. The main character was difficult to relate too as her childishness dominated.
