Summary

I found this story engaging and easy to listen to. The narrator does a fairly good job at bringing the characters to life but there is not enough difference between Vita's internal monologue and her speaking voice so it can be a little difficult to know what has been said out loud during conversations. But otherwise a fun listen and I'm looking forward to the next volume.

I was unsure. however, this was a great listen. The story was thrilling to me, and I recommend it to all who like a good monster story.

From street trash to monster hunter. Vita’s story was both horrifying and wholesome. I love the fact that she is trying to juggle so many things at once and the friendship she develops with Penta is just beautiful. All the characters have an interesting dynamic about them, like Roan and Lyn being the mum and dad of a bunch of orphans, to Penelope and the rest of Vita’s hunting team.

The characters and world building was magnificent.
