I have listened to or read 2000+ books, and I'm not sure I've ever cared for a character more than I have during the listening of this book. I think it's a combination of fantastic and appropriate voicing by the narrator Charlie Keegan James bringing life to the characters, and the author C Peinhopf's story thats so well crafted to give background and contex to each character.

The main character is incredibly likeable and so are her friends. The way the character is introduced shows how shes an oridinary intelligent, caring young woman. With the narrators voice, along with the story, I was invested at that point. Her friends are also very likeable.

The story continues to be ever moving and changing and to me it never came to mind of being predictable, it was simply an enjoyable story as we get to know the characters better. It was a joy to listen to from the very beginning, to the impactful end.

I couldn't recommend this audiobook more and I will be buying the full series.
