Publisher's Summary

Marine Lieutenant Jacob Brown was on borrowed time, and he knew it.

He was a rogue element, disobeying orders and pursuing mission goals of his own. His Scout Team had been burned, disavowed by his chain of command and the owner of the stolen ship he was flying was after them to get it back. To make matters even more complicated, the man Jacob had stolen the ship from is an infamous outlaw and mercenary named Jason Burke...his father.

Being hunted down by both the United Earth Navy and the mercenary group that called itself Omega Force, Jacob has only one chance to keep his team out of a military prison and bring down the head of the One World terrorist faction that always seemed to be three steps ahead of him...and that was only if his father didn't catch him first.

Great series

Good follow up to the original series. As the cast is mainly human, the stakes are a lot higher. With only one with additional powers and still not that skilled adds to the fallibility of the team. Only annoying thing which is common with most writers is the laws of physics in regards to ripping of doors etc. Great listen great action.

really enjoyable

I enjoyed this and laughed out loud quite a bit!. Love the banter and relationships between the crews. This wrapped up nicely some story elements and I'm excited for the next. I wish it was longer but I'm happy with anything omega force related. I hope Josh keeps writing and that the books get more widely distrbuted and become well loved. A tv series would be nice!. Keep at it Joshua, you're doing good work

Uninspired

it feels as if this book was made around fixing up some dot point loose ends and a half assed attempt at fan service to the series. The hole book feels like an extended epilogue.
