Americans, try as they might, just cannot do Australian accents well - no more so than I can do an American accent, and I say that as someone with experience in voiceover work. But this is a minor thing in the grand scheme overall.
This series is outstanding sci-if, as are all the follow-on series linked to it. I’d highly recommend The Lost Fleet to any sci-if fan.
