Bathsheba, a rather enigmatic figure in the Bible was and woman who we know little about other than she fell into adultery with the king. This book fleshes out a human, who had frailties and passion and became a godly influence in her household. She suffered a lot but always sort the Lord and raised godly sons, one becoming a great king, Solomon.
It is a redemptive story portraying the mercy of God.
