Wow what an ending,

I absolutely loved this series. The brothers were such strong men, protective and loving of each other and those around them. Heaps of twists and turns but so enjoyable to read.

Well that was a great ending to this series. This series is one that you have to listen from book 1 or you will be lost and each book has a cliffhanger so you won't be able to stop! But if your just now looking at starting it at least the entire series is released because dang that was rough waiting after each book. In the end it ended exactly how it needed to and nothing if left untold. The web of lies was awesome and kept these books moving at a fast pace.

The narration was great for Ryan & Ruby's book. Aiden Snow was great as always and Lucy Rivers was good as Ruby!

I can't believe it's over

Wow. One of the best series I've ever read has come to an end. I don't want to say goodbye. Helen has me addicted, and I may just need rehab to get over the withdrawals. Action packed, high intensity thrills is what this book is all about. I thought my heart was going to stop from going into overdrive for so long. The suspense will have you on the edge of your seat as everything comes to a head. I admit, Helen kept blowing my mind at every turn. I never knew what was going to happen next. I love when books are unpredictable. The twists and turns are around every corner which prevents me from going into any detail of the book. I would never ruin such perfection for anyone. It will be super hard saying goodbye, but I know whatever Helen gives us next will be equally as amazing.

Narrator, Lucy Rivers

The first couple of books were wonderful. The narration was great, however, as we got into the storyline and began to listen to the narrator, there was no inflexion in her voice.. She sounds monotone.. No excitement in her voice at all.. It was tough to listen to the story line listening to them. Need new readers... so bland.

The series was drawn out. and predictable.

The first three books of the series was done well. but the sex sense between the couples where phonographic and not necessarily,.. love sense would have soften the story line.. the last six books where slow and redondent.. Very hard yo get though... the read just got worst especially in books 3 though 7 if not for the book club .. i would have drop this series a long time ago,. the author lack imagination..

My Review for the First Nine Books

When I read the subject matter for the series, I was intrigued. I was especially curious to discover how the author would handle the sensitive subject matter of child abduction and abuse. It was handled appropriately. She was able to take the reader to and through the experiences without minimizing and sensationalizing the experience of those readers who have suffered through abuse. I APPRECIATE THE WARNING AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH BOOK. I found that I was really intrigued from book one thru nine with the actual mystery and story. Book 1 thru 9 could have been much stronger if edited down to five books. I am an adult. Therefore I had no problem with the explicit sexual content between the consenting characters. However, my biggest problem was that literally every 2 to 3 chapters was hard core sex scenes that also lasted 2 or 3 chapters. There is very little development between the couples who fall "in love". Around book 3 I simply started fast forwarding through the sexual content in order to get back to the story. I am not a prude. But like I said earlier the "STORY & SERIES" would have been far better if the author edited down to 5, even 6 books. But I understand why it was allowed to expand to nine. Just wish some of the sex chapters would have been "relationship" development chapters.

A Conclusion at Last to Steele Brothers Saga

This was the best book in a very long, overly wordy series. The basic plot was solid but the lack of editing and the repetitive filler that was used throughout most of the previous books was greedy and annoying, I get annoyed when a single book or a duet is greedily turned into a trilogy but this one was ridiculous. 9 books that at the most should have been 3. Too bad because the story could have been a powerful Single volume best seller if it had been edited properly and if some of the language and dialogue had been tweaked. This book actually is worth a credit though because the basic storyline is repeated enough to figure what went before and because while not every mystery is solved, the bulk of them have a predictable closure. There are more books in the series including a trilogy on the sister - Marg and Jonah’s best friend Bryce but it looks like more of the guilt ridden woe is me plot and there is a prequel on the parents which is again probably more filler and not critical to understanding the characters. Frankly after being strung along for the 8 previous books I have lost interest. Maybe the trilogy on the next generation will be better edited but unless there is a big sale, I am done with the Steele’s. If Helen Hardt paid more attention to her storytelling, crafting her writing with the narrative instead of the pay check, and finding a decent editor, she’d have a shot at being really great author.

Steele family

This whole series was captivating. It kept me interested and always wondering what next. I would recommend the entire series. Definitely Adults only. Aiden and Lucy brings all the characters to life. What a wonderful job with the narration.

Brice and Marge spin off??

This book didn't disappoint, I enjoyed hearing more about Theo's history and what made him the way he was. I feel like I have been waiting for Marge and Brice to get it on since book 7 and its never happened, Maybe a spin off book? After finishing all the books I think the saga would of been better as a trilogy, one book per brother. I'm undecided if I would read anything from the author again mainly down to the high quantity of books needed to complete one story

Just finished the audio book and......wow!

A fantastic finish to a story so compelling and complex told over 9 books. The subject isn't an easy one to tackle but these books were gripping. This final book in the epic series certainly left me with a feeling of satisfaction, the story all wrapped up........though I'd like a little spin off with Brice & Marge!
