I really enjoyed this. While heavy on the science which personally I really like, Dr Gundry shows a clear why and very practical how to improve your health and not be caught up by the fad diets and misinformation out there.

Informative

Easy to listen to Dr Gundry's voice. Plenty of information explained clearly and will listen again. Quite a few topics covered. Contains practical food listings and meal suggestions.

outstanding

loved it , life changing or lifestyle changing
but definitely worth every cent. I was on a keto diet but this just ups the dial by ten.

Fascinating Listen

OK loads to digest (!) here. Gundry’s entertaining style makes the science easy to get. Only negative is that he debunks a lot of his own prior beliefs. How long will it be that what he says here is swapped out for his next book? Nevertheless, really worth listening to if you are all about ketosis.

PRETTY GOOD BOOK

I think he hits about 90-95% of the info on the head in great relative terms us non doctors lol.

But leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

Can you start your eating window early as soon as you wake up and finish early in the 6-8 hour period?

Athletes having Beta Alanine, Acetyl-L-carnitine before a training session how does this affect it. Training on empty usually hinder athletic performance and effort

Limiting protein and animal protein not convinced at all. Maybe for weight loss but definitely not for performance or muscle retention and strength.

At the end of the day great book and insight into the gut, we’ll put together and perfect for the masses starting there journey

Gave up

I gave up on this after listening to several chapters. The book is overly dense with lengthy explanations of biological and chemical processes which I feel that I didn’t need to know. The key dietary and lifestyle advice is provided in a short section, before the science begins again and I had to stop listening. The book is read in a strangely annoying style, with emphasis placed on random words which interrupts the flow. I’m sure this book is full of great information, but it takes considerable concentration to take it in, and I’m not sure the average listener will last the distance.
