Redundant and unnecessary

The entire book could be rewritten in the singular sentence, “It’s fucking ok to be yourself.” But if you need to hear that in 5 hours worth of different ways, go for it.

meh

Not everyone gets to be chocolate cake, and most long-term relationships won't be between two cakes. The author's insistence that we search tirelessly for our cake-mate-- despite recognizing the pitfalls of oxytocin lies-- seems very 'hollywood romance' to me. That is: both naive and potentially frustrating. Unrealistic expectations can knock you out of the genepool as effectively as genital mutilation. Many of the exercises given in the book require (or greatly benefit from) having a partner. So single folk will find this book of limited use.

One word: ANNOYING

I’m 20 years old and still can not stand the language. The swearing is over done and annoying. She is trying way too hard at being ‘relatable’ and ‘quirky’. I only got through the first chapter🤷🏻‍♀️ To put it plainly If you like her other books, I’m sure you’ll like this one. If you don’t like her other books, you’ll “sure as f*ck” hate this one. Unfortunate. I had high hopes.

Never judge a book by its cover

A book that catch you by surprise, I listened to the sample just to have a laugh, but ended up buying & finishing it the next day. Don't get me wrong, this book is not for everyone. It branches into many concepts & ideas, however there is always something which will be valuable for you to learn whether it will be for your self development or your relationship with the people around you, being intimate or not. In Summary: A must read, however it need an open mind to understand & like it concepts. 10/10 chocolate cake rating!

Why the cussing...

I cuss as well but it made cringe to hear it so often... I’m not sure if it was the voice reading or what. But I couldn’t take it. Too much rambling not enough facts... and the trying to be cool thing didn’t work for me. Try again.

Good information

Great information, the only thing is she uses a lot of the work fuck. But I don’t believe it’s necessary.
