Story
Quicker is a near-future SciFi/Thriller whose young heroine, Ell Donsaii, is an intrepid athletic phenom who reminds one of David Weber's Honor Harrington. Like Stieg Larsson's Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Ell is also a mathematical genius who, instead of counting sheep, works on her own theory of quantum mechanics to help her drift off to sleep. At once shy and concerned about her social skills, yet well loved by those around her, she finds herself at the center of a terrorist plot at the Olympics.

Story
A "prehistorical-fiction" novel about a boy prodigy in a primitive caveman society. First he reduces a dislocation of his own finger, then works out how to "set bones" for others who’re injured. Like Jean Auel's Ayla, he discovers other primitive technologies, including trapping, smoking meat, and the domestication of a wolf. His mastery of these skills gradually elevates his previously despised and downtrodden position in their society - until he becomes highly respected and admired. And, falls in love with the girl he didn’t dream could love him back....

Story
This present day sci-fi story is about Roni Buchry, a young multiracial girl with dark skin, blue eyes…and the power of invisibility. She faces discrimination in her school. Her family’s retail business is plagued by an organized crime family that collects “insurance,” often brutally. Roni’s always been extraordinarily good at hiding, first in hide-and-seek as a child and later to avoid embarrassment.
Publisher's Summary
This is the 16th book in a series of near future Hard-Sci Fi Thrillers.
Their heroine Ell Donsaii has a nerve mutation that’s rendered her a genius as well as providing astonishing athletic abilities. Her genius has let her revolutionize our world with a number of inventions, including instantaneous communications and trans-dimensional portals that deliver fuel, water, and food all around the world.
In Transporter, Ell and her friend Roger have now found a way to transport people without the pain and seizures that have plagued such attempts in the past. This is going to change the world in untold ways.
Having left the country to get away from all the attention brought by an attack on Zage (Ell’s son) in the last book, they find themselves confronted by debt-slavery in the Dominican Republic. Rather than (as so many of us do) just pretending it isn’t happening, they decide to do something about it.
Zage’s working to evaluate his promising test-tube Alzheimer’s results in an animal model. But while this is being done, Ell’s grandmother is becoming more and more demented. The ethical question of whether or not to try an unproven treatment in Gram presents them with a terrible dilemma.

One of my most guilty pleasures.
The Mary Sue of Mart Sues. But gosh do I love her and wish this was how the real world worked. I know they’re silly and completely unrealistic and yet I can’t stop loving them and even re-reading. I reserve that for very few of the books I love but I want more of these stories so badly I’m willing to start over and now that the whole series is available on audiobook it will give me the excuse to do the whole series from start to finish once again.
Please Mr Dahners give us more Donsaii! I can’t wait to see what kind of incredible the twins will be with their psychic link and dual minds working in tandem.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
