Simple plot, lots of fun and an easy read with likeable characters and a great dog.

I really enjoyed this story with a K9 in tow. there are twists, subtle clues and red herrings thrown in along the way and when i thought I hadvthe baddie figured, I find out I'm wrong.
Tee did such a clever job with this plotline, I adored Thor and his antics. it went a long way to allowing a chuckle inbetween the suspense and action. the H and h were stubborn to boot and fought their romantic notions which gave the push pull effect from start to finish.

I liked Vanessa's narration but with this book I really would like to have had dual narrator's.
good depth with plot and a good touch of romance and steam.

I suspect that those of us wanting mystery/rescue stories with dogs are also after excellent characters and settings but this author keeps distracting from what could be an interesting plot line with unnecessary soft porn. It's harder to scroll past in audio form. I won't be reading the rest of the series.
