Thank you!

This book gave me the confidence that - if nothing else - the problems I am facing with my toddler are normal and appropriate. It gave me a great foundation, that I didn’t know I needed, to tackle our sleep issues with patience and strategy. It’s still early days, but I feel much better about things because of this book. Thank you!

This was a refreshing audiobook,

This was a refreshing audiobook, compiling what is known about sleep and presenting realistic options. If I had read this one first when I had my first child twelve years ago, I would have known to steer clear of the "my way or the highway" kid and baby sleep books.

I can only say good things about this book.

I can only say good things about this book. Before you conclude that it is just another attachment parenting book with obvious advice or a too-soft approach, I urge you to listen to it in its entirety.

Not a sleep training book

yes, it does cover sleep, but talks about routines and dealing with sleep issues, this is not a "how to get your toddler to sleep" book, so if you are looking for that (as I was), this will not work for you

Very little helpful info

Very little information on what to actually DO when my toddler wakes up several times during the night.
To 'be in the room' as the author suggests doesn't work, it creates a situation where my child can't sleep without me being present. So I spent the last two nights sitting in his room while he's trying to go back to sleep (cos the book says so) but he just gets up from his toddler bed and walks over, the book only talks about toddlers being in their cribs, toddlers as far as i know can easily climb out of cribs and mainly sleep in toddler beds. This book gives more info on diet, me-time, differences between girls and boys and getting the child to go to bed vs sleeping through.
