Publisher's Summary

From number-one New York Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury comes a brand-new love story in the Baxter Family collection about two people who lost their parents in the same national tragedy - two people desperate to find each other and the connection they shared for a single day...a day that changed everything.

Brady Bradshaw was a child when the Oklahoma City bombing killed his mother. Every year, Brady visits the memorial site on the anniversary to remember her. A decade ago on that day, he met Jenna Phillips, who was also a child when her parents were killed in the attack. Brady and Jenna shared a deep heart connection and a single beautiful day together at the memorial. But after that, Brady never saw Jenna again. Every year when he returns, he leaves a note for her in hopes that he might find her again.

This year, Ashley Baxter Blake and her sister Kari Ryan and their families take a spring break trip that includes a visit to the site to see the memorial's famous Survivor Tree. While there, Ashley spots a young man, alone and troubled. That man is Brady Bradshaw. A chance moment leads Ashley to help Brady find Jenna, the girl he can't forget.

Ashley's family is skeptical, but she pushes them to support her efforts to find the girl and bring them together. But will it work? Will her husband, Landon, understand her intentions? And is a shared heartache enough reason to fall in love?

Deeply emotional and beautifully romantic, To the Moon and Back is an unlikely love story about healing, redemption, hope and the belief that sometimes a new tomorrow can grow from the ashes of a shattered yesterday.

Not recommended

I really found this book slow and cringe worthy in its storyline. I preserved in finishing it but was a waste of 7 hrs listening time. Parts of it were well written but most of it was cringe worthy and drawn out.

Normally Karen’s writing is good but it seemed like a Mills and Boon book with no great storyline.
Sorry!!

nice

Predictable, although there were a few mild surprised. Parts were very repetive, recapping what happened a bit too much. As usual, she gets preachy even when the story itself made the point nicely.

Not my favorite

It was obvious how to solve the main problem. I own all of KK’a books but this one was so simplified with little to keep you listening. Narration was excellent.

Love, LoVe, LOVE!

There is on my one thing I don't like about Karen Kingsbury books, once I start one I can't put it down until I'm finished with it.

I pray that one day all her books will become movies, even friends of Jesus... wouldn't it be amazing if she could collaborate with Dallas Jenkins the writer of The CHOSEN.

Exceptional, as always!

I have not found one Karen Kingsbury book yet tfat I didn't like.
This one was no exception!
I have found myself praying for the characters in Karen's books many times. That's how well one gets to know her characters!

To the moon

This is my second KK’s book. I love the way she attracts with her writings in a not easy topic nowadays.
Even though you can predict the end at some point you cannot stop reading.
I loved the narration.

Good read

I always like Karen Kingsbury books. she has a way of writing about heartache and overcoming things by faith. The story stalled in a few places. But, eventually picked up.

Enjoyable But Not Her Best

While I do recommend this book, it was a little too slow to be her best work. She always delivers an excellent message and entertains me, but this one drug in places.

poor story line

this was not up to KKs usual standard. Not a believable story and very sacarine in parts. Sorry K but disappointed in the lack of depth and overuse of previous phrases and story lines
