great fun. excellent setup and pay off in book 1, great opportunity and presentation of character growth and development in an interesting world of unfolding powers both political and other worldly. satisfying story where it finished with me wanting more! really enjoyed the narration also.

eagerly awaiting and excited for book 2, it'll be an instant buy for me as soon as it's released -- looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop and more secrets unfold!
