Too bad for Naomi, her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with something unexpected. The niece Naomi didn’t know she had. Now, she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no plan, and no home - with an 11-year-old going on 30 to take care of.

There’s a reason Knox doesn’t do complications, or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. But, since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least he can do is help her out of her jam. And just as soon as she stops getting into new trouble, he can leave her alone, and get back to his peaceful, solitary life.

At least, that’s the plan, until the trouble turns to real danger.

This was definitely one of my favourite reads last year, just when I thought I could love it anymore I listen to the audio book 😍😍😍

Story was predictable. Old fashioned male/female interaction. But, I did listen to it.
Maybe it's a book for younger persons then me.

First, I think Ms Score borrowed some storylines from Kristen Ashley's Breathe ( one of her earlier better works than recent years)...but more light-hearted drama and less angst, though still with some real emotional handicaps for hero to work through. overall, enjoyed and time went by quite quickly. narrators were well chosen and think did good jobs. looking forward to next one.

I really enjoyed this one! Loved the characters and the storyline. Nice change from what I usually listen to. I think the main reason why I loved it was due to Knox reminding me of my husband - tattooed and bearded minus the ripped bod lol can’t wait to listen to the next one!

A very entertaining read, and loved how it made me laugh, took a couple of unexpected turns as well, just to pic the interest. over all i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I could NOT STOP! The narrators were brilliant, the story had all the feels. The characters were SOOOOO loveable. Sooo glad I stumbled upon this author. A++++++
