Sure the MFC internal dialogue might be a bit ‘urgh seriously!’ at times but the story and the other characters make up for it. I did have to re-listen to a few bits to make sense of some of the fae fables and tales as they were for me complicated to understand by listening alone but it was a wonderful winding adventure. I would have loved a sneaky family tree to help me along too. Narrated brilliantly.

This duology kept me hooked. I loved the relationships and characters. The narrator was great and did a great job with the characters. I just wish Lexi Ryan had more fantasy romance books available!

The book is performed really well.

The writing however makes you want to shake some of the characters most of the book. The first half is spent with the main character ignoring important information or just making dumb decisions. The second is a lot of her continuing to make dumb decisions or just not making a decision all together. The author turns it around in the end but she really could have done more with this story and still had the ending she does. I finished it because I had hope she could. I am so so glad the series appears to be finished though.

This was the perfect conclusion to the series and I’m so angry at myself so taking so long to read these books.

These twisted bonds had me an emotional wreck and I loved it. I did not see the twists and turns coming and the ending left me both surprised and elated.

this filled the hole that ToG left in my heart, and I'm obsessed with these characters.

The story was so interesting, I loved the world and the characters. But I think this book could have easily been two. It was such a fast paced that I had to go back to make more sense of what was going on or how they got there. If had I’ve been two there could have been more details, more character/world building and more time for romance. But I still loved it
