Great!

This book is perfect for anything. I purchased and listened to it when both my grandparents passed suddenly and it helped me through the suffering. It would suit anybody at any point in their life. Highly recommend!

Inspiring

Bear Heart tells the tale of a humble, inspiring young man who grows up to be not only a great healer, but a great human being. He lulls you in with a descriptive account of his life growing up and the challenges he faced before become a medicine man. Then he hits you with practices that you can incorporate into your daily life. It's said in a down to earth, accessible way that we can all relate to despite very few of us ever having been through anything close to what he endured in his lifetime.

The only downside I see is the narration wasn't the best.

Deep and powerful communication

Certain books have an intangible quality about them. It is not so much the information being conveyed or the stories being told, but the energy behind them. I really felt the presence of the writer in a real way, and it has inspired me to live a better life. I hope that others who are searching will find it too.

Inspiring and educational

Excellent reading performance.

The book is uplifting and inspires the right attitude to do well in life. I also learned quite a bit about Native American culture.

I only wish the author didn't venture into alternative takes ob history (e.g. suggesting that ancient Hebrews travelled to America). Spiritual teachers are known for doing that, which hurts their credibility and therefore their otherwise important message.

Very inspiring

Interesting and inspiring with good information and idea. For the most part, Bear Heart gently shares his wisdom but at times it got a little preachy. Deep and measured, I think the voice of the narrator is a good messenger to spread Bear Heart’s words.

The best book I have ever listened to!

Bear Heart's wisdom, teachings and life story have fascinated me and helped me connect much deeper with myself, those around me and also with nature. I still have much more learning and journeying to undertake and what is presented in this book will guide me on the way to a more fulfilled life. I hope this review convinces you to purchase and listen to it yourselves. It is worth it! Enjoy :)
