I really like the style and the choice of the narrator! Having listen to the first 2 books of the stormlight archive, it is interesting to identify signature elements of this author's fantasy creations. Overall a really good "read".

The author has fallen into the same trap of so many others. To counter arrogance the character is too timid.

I'm not enjoying the monotonous self doubt of Vin.

Not quite as good as the first book but nonetheless a great read. A few moments in the story nearly put me off, however all of them redeemed themselves, earning the 5 star rating. It's worth noting it may not be for those not interested in political stories although I encourage you to push through as the payoff is well worth it.
