A rather pathetic attempt at a rushed final to what was an otherwise, disregarding the 4th volume, enjoyable series that I was very much looking forward to. I can understand if an author loses motivation or wishes to move on, it happens, but they can at least warn the reader beforehand, a blurb or something in the description at least, to give us the choice before we wast our time and money on a lacklustre performance. It is not to the quality of work expected at this point in a series from an author of this level.
It has left a deep distrust of the author and any of their other or future works.
And the less said about the mc's mental faculties in this volume the better.
