Not worth it if you are interested in the Vagus nerve.

This book was the most long winded and pointless experince I have sat through in years of using Audible and has no coherent summary of actionable items. There were some interesting points and exercises in the book but it is all hidden behind a author so oppressed with her own story that if you she rarely says anything of sustenance.

If you are trying to heal from truama then it is the kind of story telling and meandering lessons that will likely be helpful for many people. The content was good when it was delivered but the useful points could have been a 30-45 minute action plan.

to hard to listen to

I couldn't listen for long enough to rate the content despite repeat attempts as the narrators voice, the author, is not suited to the task and was almost actually painful to listen to over the time required. come on, this is a penguin publication not a low cost effort. not good enough
