Very enjoyable, good pace.

This is a book for listeners who don’t want to take things overly seriously. It’s good fun, interesting, and ticks the LitRPG boxes quite well.

Characters fighting against hordes of enemies, having to make interesting choices on who to trust, what to upgrade, what builds to go with, so on.

Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys LitRPG titles.

system of a pun

if you enjoy if you enjoy your LitRPGs as a system apocalypse with a side of bad puns and zombies
give this a read

the narrators are excellent
the story is good
a bit flat with a few of the characters but the rest shine from the start.
the system messages and stats aren't overbearing and the story is just enough to keep you wanting more.

there is way too much of a focus on boobs but thankfully that is only in this first book.

Really badly written

All characters are terrible. I kept trying to give this a chance and unfortunately lost my opportunity to return it so I listened to the whole thing on a long drive. Please author don’t write a sequel. Start a new book afresh without the characters being so clique, and just bad.
