Great story. I loved it, but the audio was horrible! Words cut off, strange soft static background noises from time, to long a pause sometimes between sentences made me think a new part of story was starting only it wasn’t. Just bad quality awful recording.

I was going to take a break after the first two books included in this bundle, but was driving when the audio rolled over into book 3 so could not stop it. And then the authors created a shocking start to this one with a tragedy that would drive the story forward in overdrive and I was hooked. The pace of this story is relentless with a tension sitting just below the surface as more and more of the back story of, in this case, Snow and his friends is revealed. I loved the continuing development of the strong friendship between the four main characters and the ever growing cast of extras who start to become important to each. I especially love the policeman who is becoming more and more involved. Really loved this and will be jumping into the next one as soon as I can.
As always Kenneth Obi delivers a superb performance and really brings the characters alive.
