Ajax’s family have now joined him in the capital, helping him as he gets used to his new position as a Baron. He will have to learn how to do more than just avoid the political side of nobility while establishing his own House. His days in the Academy become more complicated as his talents outshine the rest of his generation despite his lower station.

With the upcoming tournament held in The Republic, where Ajax will have to reveal his talents for the first time on an international stage, the dangers have only become greater. Will he be able to stand amongst the powerhouses of the other kingdoms?

I love that these books pick up where they left off instead of over explaining what previously happens in prior books. Love Lexi and how she bursts into her grandpas room without knocking causing a humours startling effect. Love the Crown Princes humour and attitude. He learns magnetic mana, and gains life aspect mana from one of the delves in the republic when a mana seed explodes. Love that he brings in his knowledge from earth regarding sound mana. There’s lots of bargaining in this book which I love.

Another great continuation

good continuation of the series. I feel like all the ending part with the nobles could of been flushed out more considering the setup for his benefits felt lacking and over simplified.

very solid book

The books to date reference the international Peace treaty constantly and then have this book about its tournament to avoid wars. Only for one of those nations to break that Treaty in front of all other and it get passed off as nothing. It undermines the entire world building and reason why half of what the kingdom and Ajax's does is based on.

World building was killed in chapter 337
