Conflict is essential to story - regardless of genre. The friction between what a character wants and the lengths they will go to reach that goal is what pulls readers through your book. Great conflict is what leaves readers cheering (or crying) at the end of a story. Using humour and her deep knowledge of human behaviour, counsellor and award-winning author Eileen Cook will guide you through the causes of conflict, the differences between internal and external conflict, and show you how conflict resolution techniques can be turned upside down to ramp up the tension in your book.

So good !!
I loved this book. The information offered helped to reinforce areas of editing and helped me to join the dots. King’s ability to simply explain, what can be intricate about the editing craft, was exceptional. I had many ‘aha’ moments. I loved this book so much, that by chapter 6, after listening to the book on the drive to and from work, I went and bought the Ebook. I will return to this audible book again and again. As an emerging Indie Author, this book has joined my collection of writing bibles. It has been invaluable to me as I undertake the first self-edit of my novel.
