Main character makes most stupid decisions possible every time! Beer properties described every time he buys a beer soooooo annoying! No one cares about dwarf girl, however whole plot based on her! Wanted to give up on 4th, 5th and 6th books many times due to main character choosing worst possible path every time! Only character with any depth is half imp! Hopefully end of 6th book makes some sense but can’t bring myself to listen to it! Overall plot is interesting, however depressing character ruin it for me!

This book series is very boring, the characters are unliveable and flat when they're not whining and complaining, the item and skill descriptions are long and repetitive to the point where we get almost 15 level ups of a skill in a row and get the entire description read out every time. The Mc's progression is rolled back multiple times to the point it feels like a waste of time listening to the previous books.

Seriously, if I have to listen to the description of what a pint of ale is and what effect it has on the drinker one more time, I think I'll throw it. Soooo aggravating! And that a-hole half imp should've been left dead. And the whiny-ass MC needs to learn to suck it up a little more and tell some of his companions to shove their deciding his fate where the sun doesn't shine. I would have dumped both of them in a deep dark hole by now. A little more humour to lighten a bit of the angst wouldn't go too far astray either. This one left me, like the characters, feeling ticked off, aggravated and tired of the whole thing .. but the story continues. And we have to know what happens next.

Am mostly enjoying the ride, buuutt..
